About Scott

Since lacing up his first pair of boots as a young teenager for a hike along the Appalachian Trail, J. Scott Graham has enjoyed the great outdoors. As a young adult he began taking pictures along his journeys and discovered a unique talent for portraying natural wonders.

Through trial and frequent error, he honed his craft and developed his artistic vision. An entrepreneur at heart, Scott utilized his images to self-publish calendars and postcards that grew rapidly into an extensive line of additional products.

Though most well-known for his legendary landscapes of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smoky Mountains National Park, he developed an impressive portfolio that showcased many state parks, national historic sites, and picturesque destinations throughout the United States and in the Caribbean.

Combining photographic skills with business savvy, Scott has been able to provide valuable financial support and priceless interpretive tools for some of North America’s most treasured locations.

Iconic images that are featured on his products have been enjoyed by millions of people, making him one of the most celebrated and influential photographers of the 21st century.

Scott resides in Johnson City, Tennessee, and has been married to his wife Cathy since 1990. They enjoy two sons (Chace and Jackson), two daughters-in-law (Lainey and Shelby), and two grandsons (Ellis and Scott).
